Huh? This is a bug, and you are forcing your choice of firefox on
everyone.

If firefox isn't installed, then this shows the incorrect application,
breaks gnome support for http urls and requires the user to dig through
to find this setting and fix it.

It'd be better to use gnome-www-browser which is designed to
transparently handle exactly this situation.
