I tried upgrading from gutsy to hardy heron using do-release-upgrade.
However, do-release upgrade reported a severe error after the writing
the line "Calculating the changes" on the terminal.

+ I can no reproduce the bug here so we need to ensure that we do not add

+ 1. install gutsy
+ 2. run "update-manager --proposed"
+ 3. verfiy that version 0.87.25 is used (in /var/log/dist-upgrade/main.log)
+ 4. verify that the upgrade can still be calculated correctly
