The text from Question #30531:
Pedro: I can now see what the 'Start here' note means. But really, how many
users guess that 'Gnome Panel' refers to the notification area? I only just
noticed that when Tomboy is running it has a status/notification icon on the
panel. That is certainly not a common approach.

I am criticising that Tomboy uses that Panel this way - but I think the
documentation should be made much clearer. For example:

from:
"You can create new notes to hold your ideas by selecting the "Create New Note"
item from the Tomboy Notes menu in your GNOME Panel. Your note will be saved
automatically."
to this:
"You can create new notes to hold your ideas by selecting 'File > New' or by
clicking on the Tomboy icon which is on the GNOME Panel when Tomboy is running.
Your notes will be saved automatically."
