As i already said, "For master drive i have choosen no action and no mount point", "Rest of options default (also grub)." So, there was no resizing and i have no idea what grub instalation options were.
I guess, that i should add this, because it may not be clear: Before Kubuntu instalation hd0,0 - ntfs with Vista, all space hd1,0 - ntfs emtpy, old xp instalation (propably bootable, but not working because of hardware changes), all space After hd0,0 - ntfs with Vista, all space hd1,0 - ext3, with Kubuntu, 39 GB hd1,1 - swap, 1 GB I agree that, grub shouldn't touch anything but mbr. I just don't see any other explanation. I don't know Vista to good, so I'm also not sure if c:\boot isn't somehow virtual directory (not on HD). Maybe Vista had used hd1 during instalation and placed data there ? That would be really wierd, but it's not impossible. -- Kubuntu' grub overwritten Vista bootloader https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/229318 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
