it appears that this problem only occurs on xspf playlists. reloading one of
those doesn't play the file.
This is because audacious saves the ampersand characters in the playlist file:
<location>file:///media/music/Gamma%20Ray/Singles%20&%20EPs/(1997)%20Valley%20of%20the%20Kings/Gamma%20Ray%20-%2003%20Watcher%20in%20the%20Sky%20(Iron%20Savior%20Version).mp3</location>

but the encoding is different... the spaces are URL encoded (%20) and
the ampersands are HTML encoded(&).

my theory:
When loading the playlist the ampersand isn't loaded. (thats why you cant vies
the track details, the path to the track doesn't point to a valid file)

how to fix.. i don't know.. I'll get the sources and compare them to the
ubuntu sources.. although I'm not a programmer

audacious cannot read from files with certain characters in the path or
filename and has a high cpu load.
