Well, not sure I understand but I do think so.

I just issue:
dpkg-reconfigure console-data in gnome-terminal, and this gives me a debconf 
screen in the gnome-terminal window.

But I see no way to, click the <ok> button in it, and pressing enter key
does nothing.

I will attach screenshot (nice, it is as easy as hiting print-screen
key!).

Probably not important, but I had patched /etc/X11/xkb/compat/level5 to
fix a bug (on which I have/had attached the patch).

Hum, I'll probably set locale to en.UTF-8 and re-get screenshot if I
want it not to be in french before attaching it.
