For Ubuntu you need to goto Preferences>Sessions and add it in somewhere. Add in like:
Name: nvidia-settings Command: /usr/bin/nvidia-settings --load-config-only Comment: Loads nvidia-settings at boot Then any settings will be loaded at boot. For Kubuntu create a script in /home/username/.kde/Autostart and make it executable. Like: $ nano /home/username/.kde/Autostart/nvidia-settings.sh And in the editor type: #!/bin/bash sleep 10 && /usr/bin/nvidia-settings --load-config-only Then save it with CTRL-X ...and make it executable: $ chmod a+x /home/username/.kde/Autostart/nvidia-settings.sh A third way that will work for both the above and Xubuntu is to add it to your .xinitrc file but it seems this file is not created by default... -- lg flatron l222ws monitor not listed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/186026 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is subscribed to kde-guidance in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
