Why was this bug marked invalid? I'm having the same problem. I followed the instructions here: http://tipotheday.com/2007/11/28/connect-to-windows-vpn-server-pptp-with-ubuntu-gutsy/ They worked once, I got the VPN connection. But now the VPN connection option doesn't show up. I've tried running through those steps again w/ no luck. I tried symlinking as it suggested in the Bug Description.
