Public bug reported: Binary package hint: inkscape
Original question on User group mailing list http://lists.luv.asn.au/wws/arc/luv-main/2008-06/msg00513.html Inkscape & other gnome applications (dia?) use the "gtk-print-preview-command" property for print preview defaulting to "evince --unlink-tempfile --preview --print-settings %s %f" http://library.gnome.org/devel/gtk/unstable/GtkSettings.html#GtkSettings--gtk-print-preview-commandzzzzza Kubuntu users may not wish to use evince. Could another package be added to provide the gtk-print-preview-command, either by having evince installed, providing a shell-script wrapper for kpdf or whatever that calls itself evince and does the required unlink or by updating the user's ~/.gtkrc-2.0-kde or systemwide equivalent to set the property to kpdf or other PDF viewer. Otherwise please enhance the documentation for Kubuntu so the use of gtk-print-preview-command in ~/.gtkrc-2.0-kde is more obvious. Inkscape 0.46 (the current version in KUbuntu 8.04). ** Affects: inkscape (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- inkscape needs evince for preview on kubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/243233 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
