Dear Paul, Unfortunatly I am unable to send this file to you as my son wiped the disk before I got the chance!!
I have now sucessfully installed Ubunto by installing Windows first and then using the Ubunto install to resize that partition as small as possible and then carrying out a normal install. Previously I was wiping the disk and using all 10Gb for Ubunto, but letting the installer create the partitions for me. Once again I am sorry and I hope this does not cause you any inconvenience; if the you wish you can close the bug. Could you please attach /var/log/installer/syslog, /var/log/syslog, and /var/log/partman to this bug, by commenting on the bug's web page?
