Chris, thanks for writing. I have the Times New Roman font on my Ubuntu machine. My problem remains. Today on my XP box I opened my document in 2.0 OpenOffice and saved it as an odt file. On my XP machine it appeared on one page. I emailed myself the file hoping it'd open on Ubuntu 2.4 without a problem. Unfortunately the visual appearance is the same. Makes me wonder if its my machine. What else? Yes, I am updated and current with Ubuntu as of today. And my problem occurs on the live disc install of Fedora 9 -- again making me think its my machine. I might have to admit Open Office has no bug as far as my problem is concerned.
