This is to be expected. The checks for Ubuntu distributions are enabled when a package version number contains either the name of an Ubuntu release or the string "ubuntu". Since your package's version contains neither, it's being assumed to be a package intended for Debian rather than Ubuntu. The relevant changes were added in lintian 1.23.31ubuntu2 in gutsy to fix LP#120040 (to allow Ubuntu distributions if the package version contains "ubuntu") and updated in 1.23.46 by Colin Watson to add checking for the name of an Ubuntu release. -- hardy seems to be unknown to lintian https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226724 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
