Similar problem here. With kernel 2.6.24-19-386, WPA-PSK doesn't work, but if I boot with 2.6.22-14 it connects fine. I can currently scan networks and connect using WEP or no encryption on the new kernel, though.
My card also uses ndiswrapper, (Windows driver mrv8000c, Chipset "Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88w8335 [Libertas] 802.11b/g Wireless (rev 03)"). The configuration is the same for both kernels and I use Network Manager for connecting in both kernels. I talked with someone on ndiswrapper's IRC channel and they couldn't help me. I currently tried with ndiswrapper 1.51, 1.51 and 1.53. As I can connect to non-encrypted networks and WEP-encrypted ones, maybe is a wpa-supplicant problem? If you need more information just ask me and I will attach it here. PS: When connecting, sometimes errors like these appear on dmesg: [10159.594237] ndiswrapper (set_scan:1175): scanning failed (C0000001) [10159.846362] ndiswrapper (set_essid:59): setting essid failed (C0000001) [10193.011913] ndiswrapper (set_scan:1175): scanning failed (C0000001) -- wpa2 ndiswrapper 2.6.24-16-generic does not connect https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/225353 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
