FWIW I do not have this problem (RE: odd locked sample rates), though with same card after suspend the sound card does not initialize. Modules are loaded, alsa restarted, everything looks fine, but all audio apps lock up, etc. Only way to get sound is a full restart- and only then do I hear my speakers give a little *zeet* sound from the card turning on.
