First, and this is really weird, my Xorg logs don't seem to be logging
correctly. I have Xorg.0.log from today, and Xorg.9.log from 6 days
ago. There are no times in there, so I can't tell when any of that is
happening. At any rate, there is no fatal error to match the fatal
error I see in the system log.

Second, my bug doesn't seem to match bug #250891 in several ways. Not
hanging on startup, not using KDE, and so forth.

Finally, when I get my black screen, I can't switch to other consoles
using Alt-Fn, or bring up the shell with Ctrl-Alt-F2. Nothing works
except the aforementioned Alt-PrtScrn, Alt-S, Alt-U, Alt-B (or holding
the power button).

But if you don't think I'm fitting this bug, I can try to start a new
one.
