Beginning with the Hardy Heron 8.04 development cycle the kernel source package naming convention changed from "linux-source-2.6.xx" to just "linux". Going forward, kernel bugs should now be reported against the "linux" package. Since this bug is already correctly reported against the "linux" source package I'm removing the "linux-source-2.6.24" package.
Also, just a note that Triaged kernel bugs should be assigned to the 'ubuntu-kernel-team'. I'll go ahead and assign it accordingly. One other thing that would be helpful is if you could test with the latest Alpha for the upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10. You should be able to test via a LiveCD - http://www.ubuntu.com/testing . Please let us know your results. Thanks. ** Changed in: ubuntu Sourcepackagename: linux-source-2.6.24 => None Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: High => Medium Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu Kernel Team (ubuntu-kernel-team) Status: Triaged => Incomplete -- error fetching interface information: Device not found https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230126 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
