Actually, I've just realised. I don't think it is a bug as such. Because
right now the shutdown/halt buttons do not seem to work, whenever I want
to stop/restart my computer I need to type halt in a terminal. In the
past I noticed that whenever I had a power cut, random reboot, etc. the
amarok playlist returned to what it was when I started the program
(which in this case happened to be blank). Obviously it would be nice to
save the playlist whenever it changes, but I suppose this is an
improvement, not bug.

Regarding your question: Yes, I am sure that I exit the program
completely.
