Ok.. I upgraded and will test it.  Just an FYI.  I only saw this happen once
and have been unable to reproduce the issue since.

We'll see what happens.

Hmm, well could you test it with the KDE4 version?
You don't have to install KDE4, just sudo apt-get install dolphin-kde4 and
that will install just the stuff necessary for the KDE4 dolphin.
I'd recommend that KDE3 users use the KDE4 version because it's much better
than the KDE3 version.

Status in "dolphin" source package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Binary package hint: dolphin

Running Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 3.  Straight install with added packages.

After opening about 4 or 5 different Dolphin windows, Dolphin produced a
SIGSEV.  Not doing anything special...
