I cannot see this problem anymore with Intrepid Alpha 4, on a system
with Intel i915 (-intel driver). I believe that this bug, with respect
to the -intel driver, has been fixed.

* xdpyinfo reports:
screen #0:

* xrandr reports:
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1280 x 800, maximum 1280 x 1280

   640x480        59.9  
TV disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
