This is appearing to be a video issue. Could you please paste the output of the command dpkg -l | grep "^ii" | grep "linux-image\|linux-restricted-modules" on here Could you also please let us know what your graphics card is (nvidia/ati etc..)? This will help us with your issue and push it to the right devs if necessary.
