I have had this happen on xubuntu intrepid. I was on Amazon, did a
search, and this type of crash occurred.

Firefox crashed randomly and taking X windows sever into console mode.. not
responing. After a while using Firefox , it gets unresponsive very well and
then a "quick" action caused everything fall apart.
