I would like to reopen this bug. When I try to boot this gernel it starts and
tells me modual are missing,the stops. In checking around trying to fix I tried
to install linux packport mduels and it will not
install.linux-backports-modules-2.6.26-5-generic
Package not available found this in ubuntu packages the version listed
for interpid requires this one to be installed first. Thus I cant instal this.
It states that it insures that your kernels can be updated and not left in an
unbootable state.I have tired the question route and have got no response.
