Moved from synaptic to nvidia driver following discussion with tselliot
on IRC. The issue is not a synaptic problem, its with the nvidia graphic
driver not sending fail codes. Also moved to confirmed following the
same discussion.

The attached screenshot shows the details where one of the items being
upgraded in the batch failed. The upgrade was for the nvidia glx driver
which encounted a problem and aborted the install to resolve manually.
Since the upgrade did not take effect the package should have sent a
fail code to synaptic.
