This bug is not fixed for me with 2.6.27. When I resume from standby, I no longer get a screen full of usbdev error messages, just a brief flash of text before the screen goes black and the system hangs. Setting MODULES_WHITELIST="usbhid" in /etc/default/acpi-support again fixes the problem.
Some further information: I am running a Dell Inspiron 600m, and have also never been able to get hibernate to work with Ubuntu on any kernel, including 2.6.27 (haven't filed a bug report on that yet -- should I?) -- usbdev will not resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/89706 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
