I re-tested this in a two day old re-install of hardy heron.
Ran seahorse from the terminal.
Key -> Create New Key -> Secure Shell Key
Entered a description of "My SSH Key"
Selected Create and Setup
Entered the passphrase twice (8 characters)

Application closed with the following information in the terminal.

** Message: init gpgme version 1.1.5
Segmentation fault
