Could you provide some more detail about what you were trying to download?
Do other things you download work? Perhaps it was the remote server which was
not working correctly?
Also, it seems you are running 7.04 which has an older version of
firefox - if you upgrade to 7.10 and then 8.04 you will get firefox3
which fixes many bugs from firefox2.
