Thanks Jeremy for starting that discussion. Your email doesn't gives much details about the user experience benefits and the status of the package/cost though. How is a typical user interaction with the tool like? Is there any known side effect/user complains about it? What file format does it preview and using what backend? How well is it maintained upstream and in Debian/Ubuntu? What's the cve/bug reports status?
