Hi Sergio, No problem.
I wondered if you meant MRE. It would be nice to have BIND on that list (if that would do what I think it would do). With regards to filing a bug against bind9, I guess I don't know what you mean. I followed the directions on this page (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs) for reporting a bug. Does filing a bug against bind9 involve something else? I'm a complete newbie WRT reporting Ubuntu bugs. As far as reproducing the issue, it's only happened once, we didn't cause the crash, and we don't know what did. So I'm afraid we have no way of reproducing it. It also wasn't able to generate a core dump when it crashed because the core dump it tried to generate was too large. Sorry about the noise. > What is the MIR list? Sigh, yesterday wasn't a good day for me, apparently. I should have said "MRE list", sorry. MRE means Micro Release Exception; it's an exception given by the SRU team to allow micro/minor release updates of packages that have already been released in previous Ubuntu series. This is a good thing to have when upstream provides minor releases that contain only bug fixes. Either way, please file a bug against bind9 and I/we will take a look into what's happening. If you can provide a step-by-step reproducer for the failure you're experiencing, that'd be great.
