Dear Colin, I didn't mean for my letter to seem defeatist - Linux
Ubuntu is a superb system which is why I have a subscription with
Ubuntu User from the very first issue plus the same for Linux Format
and Full Circle Magazine - which is anything but defeatist and shows
us all how to be self-reliant when it comes to Linux, Unix or any GPL
product under the Gnu flag. Full Circle Magazine really pulls the
stops out in trying to show anyone how to manipulate Ubuntu and its
accessories in a way that makes the reader confident in tinkering with
their computers as well as becoming MTU's in their own time because of
the encouragement in that particular magazine! At pushing seventy, I
try to be as forward-thinking and aware of what still can be done by
the Silver Surfer - when it comes to Ubuntu!

Sincerely and thanks for your input!
