I have no idea why the build works on your local machine. I get the same error 
when
building locally with pbuilder.

It seems like you need to add "-lGLU" to some more qmake project files:
ImageVis3D/ImageVis3D.pro
CmdLineConverter/CmdLineConverter.pro
UVFReader/UVFReader.pro
