Question #46552 on Ubuntu Eee changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/46552
Egon Geerardyn proposed the following answer: Sure, the old fashioned (TTY) terminals are still available (as on most distribution, unless they're explicitly disabled by the admin). And I understood what you meant, but I didn't interpret it as an indirect question whether they are available. For people not familiar with them: from the graphic interface (X-system), you need to press Ctrl-Alt-F1 through F6 for those terminals, on the 7th terminal, the graphical system resides. From a non-graphic terminal, just Alt-F1 through F7 will suffice (but it doesn't hurt to press Ctrl, I for one mostly use the X-specific shortcuts by habit). -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Eee Coders, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu Eee. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-eee-coders Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-eee-coders More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
