Έχει ανοίξει ενότητα στο xda-developers για το «Ubuntu για τηλέφωνα», http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2069 και υπάρχει μεγάλη κινητικότητα. Είναι θέμα της κοινότητας να καταφέρει να φτιάξει σύντομα «images» για περισσότερα κινητά, ώστε να χρησιμοποιηθεί το Ubuntu for Phones πιο νωρίς.
