sorry i should have mailed this problem to the list earlier - this has
happened about 6 months ago, just do metacity everytime i startup and its
solved and i move on.
tried everything with compiz at that point and no luck - it was simpler just
to do metacity everytime and right now don't have the bandwidth  / patience
to do silly Gui things to try and fix it - hopefully is fixed when I
upgrade, which I need to do soon anyway.
