You can isolate the problem step-by-step.
First see if you are able to connect through a Wired connection using a
regular Ethernet cable.
If that works, try connecting wirelessly WITHOUT any security. See if you
can ping your router atleast.
It's after this that you should try the security modes.
And my advice would be to go for a WPA-PSK with TKIP encryption, since most
clients support this mode.
WPA2 and/or AES might not be supported by all Clients.
