Alan, At the moment I do not believe there is a plan for a 3rd Edition of the Lucid Manual. Which is why it was deferred until the maverick manual.
In addition there was not time to fix this with the lucid e2 deadline. I hope this answers your question. Feel free to add additional comments, if you have further views.
