In order to help with the research effort, I've created an online survey version of the questions that Benjamin asked on the Ubuntu forum.
Please review the survey so far: http://questionpro.com/t/ADd2yZGu50 I ask that you not share the link until 2009-01-14 at 0500 UTC -- I wanted to give folks on this list a chance to review the survey. At that hour I plan to wipe all the responses for the survey, so that we start with a clean database. Please let me know if you think we need any changes to the questions. Note that in the free version of the tool I can only ask 9 questions (plus one slot that is used for the intro text), and can't have conditional logic in the questions. I think that is not a serious limitation -- anything longer is unlikely to get answered anyways. -ilya
