As Vish pointed out, having a first look at these, using much or any Aubergine is problematic, as Mark Shuttleworth stated: "The use of Aubergine indicates Commercial involvement of one form or another, while Orange is a signal of community engagement." But recalling https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-manual/Artwork#Tone%20and%20Message huge amounts of Orange just appear too aggressive, while Aubergine hits the tone rather well. It's far from the only option, if we don't tie us to the official artwork that closely.
