Matthew et al,
from what I understand Launchpad is how all the major activity
within the Ubuntu community gets tracked. There is much more to the
system than meets the eye. At the recent Paris Development Summit,
it was used not just for technical specification tracking but for
such diverse topics as the One Laptop per Child and "What non-geeks
want" to usability issues. If anyone has been following the artwork
team's progress over the past few months, you can see that Launchpad
is an essential part of the process. I don't have time to go into
detail right now, but we're going to need to incorporate our work
into the Launchpad system so that it can be tracked and recognized by
the Project leaders (Canonical Staff et al).
more later,
Belinda

Hi guys,
As everything seems to be going well for the Marketing team, I propose
we close the Media Relations team on Launchpad. I didn't quite
understand the distinction between teams and team projects when I
opened it.
Cheers.
