Fact 1: someone asked for help how to become a MOTU and present interest for a particular Qt package Fact 2: someone else based on a QT package mention suggested additional resources related to that interest >From the logs you have sent there is no objective statement leading the "#ubuntu-motu is the wrong channel" idea, it is your opinion based on the chat interpretation, which in my opinion is not correct.
