Yes, absolutely. That was one of the design goals of the Harmattan QML frontend. If you need help looking around in Trojita's source, please don't hesitate to ask, but to point you in the right direction, the supporting glue code is available in src/QmlSupport/ModelGlue/ while the existing QML for Harmattan lives under src/Harmattan/qml/trojita/.
