I'm dual booting ubuntu touch(trusty r121) and android kitkat on my nexus 4 through the dual boot script released by canonical. When i'm on network(3g or wifi) and i do a search in the home or music lens in the dash or try to open a song preview, the phone screen automatically turns black(greyish black) and after 3-4 seconds takes me back to the welcome screen. All open apps automatically gets closed and i have to start afresh. I'm using the android 4.3 radio image as 4.4 radio still does not work in ubuntu.
Could it be a problem with the radio image? Because i'm able perform local searches in both lenses when i turn off both cellular data and wifi. Even previews work when not connected to the net. One more thing i noticed especially in previews was that if i play a song through preview and the screen automatically switches off after sometime, the music playback becomes increasingly choppy. Upon unlocking i find that the preview gets closed automatically. Is this a bug or is this how its supposed to be? Thanks and have a nice day :)
