Hello landers, As you know, all ubuntu-rtm landings require QA sign-off *if* they are not isolated bugfixes. Throughout the few weeks of landings we noticed that this term - 'isolated bugfix' - is not entirely self-descriptive, and that we are still lacking a formal definition of what we understand under this term.
But before everyone can agree on what would be the correct definition, together with the QA team we have decided to introduce a small formal change whenever requesting such an 'exception' from the QA sign-off. So now, whenever you have a landing that you think falls into the category of an isolated bugfix, you have to: * Select the 'N/A (nickname)' entry from the 'QA signoff needed?' cell and replace 'nickname' with the name of the person requesting this exception. If someone from the landing team or the QA team agreed on this alread you can write his name instead - this way it will be easier for us to know who to contact when in doubt. * In the landing description please try to briefly point out why it is an isolated bugfix in your opinion. Thanks!
