Hello everyone, Vivid continues its slow velocity regarding touch landings. Ubuntu-rtm had one critical battery-life related fix landing today, but so far things seem to move rather slowly on both ends.
Using the occasion we would like to remind everyone about automation. The smoketesting dashboards don't seem to look well, we are seeing many failures in unity8 and UITK in mako and krillin devices for vivid (not to mention failures in apps). We need to get those into a better shape till the end of the month for sure. We are also worried about the multiple differences of test run results when ran locally in comparison to the ones we have in our smoketesting dashboards. The CI team's backlog has the task of documenting all the steps their testing infrastructure does - which might help in streamlining our processes - but we'll have to wait a bit for that to happen.
