Hello everyone, First or all: a quick notice related to the next week's milestone. After some discussions we have decided that the ubuntu-rtm RC image that will be prepared next week will, on the same week, become the OTA-2 image for this month. This image will have all the recent battery-life fixes + the future fix for LP: #1413655 [1]. This way normal stable channel users will not have to wait till the end of the month for those important fixes.
We had a few fixes landing today for vivid, none for the current migration-blockers sadly. There's still a few weeks before we'd like to do the branch-off but the current velocity is a bit worrying. From other news: we have been informed that the reminders-app should be ready for another QA sign-off tomorrow, so touch users should get access to the latest version pretty soon. A new calculator-app should be ready next week as well - but more on that once the final decision is made. And last for today: we have disabled daily builds in the 14.09-proposed since in theory we're only waiting for 1-2 more fixes to land. We can build images manually once those happen. Cheers!
