Hello everyone, First of all: wily final freeze is now in effect! Even though touch development follows its own release processes, wily final freeze is an important factor for any dual landings or packages targeting 15.10 in overall. Please remember about that when preparing your landings.
Today was a day full of touch landings. There was a new Ubuntu UI Toolkit released with multiple fixes, followed by a new webbrowser carrying fixes, string changes and features like search in history and preliminary additions to the contextual menu for selected text. Besides those we also had a new gallery, unity8, ubuntu-download-manager and others. We will now also re-release the reverted libusermetrics as the required Unity8 fix is landed. In other words: things are busy! We also made some changes to the translation infrastructure, preparing for re-enabling auto-uploads of langpack packages to the overlay PPA. Looking good so far.
