I've enabled rndis (via terminal, or Tweakgeek) - using OTA14
However the network manager on my Ubuntu 16.04 laptop shows "Ethernet Network (Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition)" greyed out (disconnected).
Can anyone suggest possible debugging avenues to resolve this problem? The laptop has no problems with USB tethering of Android devices.
