Apparently, I have too many tabs open and didn't refresh the one about the SRU where sil2100 recorded his thoughts. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/focal/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1929999/comments/1 So we are also keen to hear better ideas than the two outlined in that comment.
