Also, I have my set of audio applications i frequently use, and others i hardly looked at. On the plus side, I have some years of experience in teaching and writing my own courses (even on linux system administration and c++ programming.)
In the long run, I think there are better people for this. But if this is something that needs to be done, I'll do it. I won't be blazingly fast since I too have other commitments, but I can spend about 8 hours a week on this in the evenings. So what i can do is make a general structure for documentation, propose a consistent way to present it, coordinate efforts by other volunteers and write documentation on the things I know well enough. Obviously, others things are just not my area of expertise. If you like me to help out that way, I'll do that.
