What do you mean by upstream?

I could, yes. But... I never use US for video editing, so i cannot write
much about that. Also, I have my set of audio applications i frequently
use, and others i hardly looked at. On the plus side, I have some years
of experience in teaching and writing my own courses (even on linux
system administration and c++ programming.)

In the long run, I think there are better people for this. But if this
is something that needs to be done, I'll do it. I won't be blazingly
fast since I too have other commitments, but I can spend about 8 hours a
week on this in the evenings.

So what i can do is make a general structure for documentation, propose
a consistent way to present it, coordinate efforts by other volunteers
and write documentation on the things I know well enough. Obviously,
others things are just not my area of expertise.

If you like me to help out that way, I'll do that.

Regards,

yvan
