PPS: I was a gedit user, gedit is better than leafpad, but there's no need for it. FWIW around 20 years ago I wrote MIDI and audio Assembler code for the C64 without a rich text editor. I also wrote C code for 80286 processors using a thingy comparable to vi. Today I'm only a user and I enjoy that there's an editor like leafpad.
