Don't do irc much I would guess. There are three kinds of jack and in some
cases it does matter which one is running. So if ardour starts jackd but
you need jackdbus for some reason like using netjack2 for example. then
jackdbus can not start. This is very confusing for users. We get too many
people on our support channel with this kind of problem.
I understand this never happens in your particular setup (doesn't happen
in mine either), but it does happen often enough to be worth having
something that can just fix it without long explanations.
